LabPreps ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at LabPreps.com (the "Site") and the mobile phlebotomy services booked through the Site.

By accessing the Site or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our website or services.

1. Scope of Mobile Services

LabPreps is a concierge mobile specimen collection service. We employ certified phlebotomists to collect blood or other medical specimens from clients and deliver them to designated laboratories. We are not a laboratory, medical clinic, or healthcare provider. We do not analyze samples, perform diagnostic testing, or offer medical advice.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

By using this Site, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or are the legal guardian of a minor patient. If you create an account on our Site, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Medical Orders & Physician Authorization

We cannot perform standard venipuncture without a valid, signed laboratory order from a licensed healthcare provider (e.g., MD, DO, NP, PA) unless you are purchasing an approved direct-to-consumer kit that explicitly waives this requirement. You must provide this order before or during your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service if an order cannot be verified.

4. Appointment Policy & Prep Requirements

Patient Prep: You are solely responsible for following all physician fasting or hydration instructions.
Unsuccessful Draws: If our phlebotomist cannot complete a draw due to patient dehydration, difficult veins, or non-compliance with instructions, a non-refundable convenience fee of [Insert Amount, e.g., $50] will still be charged.
Cancellations: Cancellations made less than [Insert Hours, e.g., 24 hours] before the scheduled window will incur a fee of [Insert Amount, e.g., $35].

Our pricing covers the mobile convenience fee, travel, and physical collection of your specimen only. We do not collect payment for laboratory processing. The processing laboratory (e.g., Labcorp, Quest Diagnostics) will bill you, your health insurance, or your healthcare provider independently for the actual scientific analysis of your sample.

6. Informed Consent & Assumption of Risk

By booking a service, you acknowledge that venipuncture carries minor inherent physical risks, including bruising, mild bleeding, swelling, fainting, or infection. You explicitly release LabPreps and its contracted phlebotomists from any liability arising from standard, non-negligent medical collection procedures.

7. Prohibited Website Use

You agree not to use our Site to upload fraudulent doctor orders, misrepresent your identity, input false health insurance information, or attempt to scrape website data. We reserve the right to terminate your access and cancel pending appointments immediately if abuse is detected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LabPreps]shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or our mobile services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for that specific appointment.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
